About me
I’m a letter artist based in Paris.
My journey began in graphic and visual design, working for agencies, music festivals, independent labels, and cultural associations across both Italy and France.
After settling in Paris in 2011, I expanded my expertise by collaborating with artistic institutions – from galleries to publishing houses – as well as communication and digital agencies, serving as both visual and UX designer.
Following years as a professional designer, I earned my DMA (Diplôme des Métiers d’Arts Graphiques, specializing in Typography) from the École Estienne in Paris.
My design practice has consistently evolved around typography and letterform.
In 2015, I began studying formal calligraphy at the studio of Laurent Rebena, mastering Western calligraphy, from Roman scripts to modern variations, under his guidance.
Over the years, I have deepened my practice with renowned master calligraphers such as Monica Dengo, Elmo van Slingerland, and Liesbet Boudens, exploring the creative possibilities of letters and signs.
My current work encompasses formal writing, lettering, and expressive calligraphy. Driven by a passion for bookmaking and handmade paper, I also create unique artist books, blending techniques and materials.
I am currently attending the Expert Class Type Design at the Plantin Institute of Typography in Anversa (BE), and I’m a resident artist in OPAZ3 collective in Paris (Aubervilliers).
