About me
My professional journey began in graphic and visual design, working for agencies, music festivals, independent labels, and cultural associations across both Italy and France, where I have lived since 2011. After settling in Paris, I expanded my expertise by collaborating with artistic institutions – including galleries and publishing houses – as well as communication and consulting agencies, serving as both a visual and UX designer.
Throughout my design practice, I have consistently centered my research and composition around typography and the letterform. Following years as a professional designer, I earned my DMA (Diplôme des Métiers d’Arts Graphiques, specializing in Typography) from the École Estienne in Paris.
In 2015, I began studying formal calligraphy at the studio of Laurent Rebena, mastering Western calligraphy, from Roman scripts to modern variations, under his guidance.
Over the years, I have deepened my practice through residencies and masterclasses with renowned master calligraphers such as Monica Dengo, Elmo van Slingerland, and Liesbet Boudens, exploring the creative possibilities of letters and signs.
My current practice encompasses formal writing, lettering, and expressive calligraphy. Driven by a passion for bookmaking and handmade paper, I also create unique artist books, blending diverse techniques and materials.
I am currently a member of the CLAS (Calligraphy and Lettering Art Society) in London and part of the OPAZ3 collective in Paris (Aubervilliers).
